Self Portrait Critique

This is a self portrait entitled "Sun" drawn by me back in September of 2016. This drawing is mainly made of shading rather than harsh lines and shapes to give off the smooth finish. The sunflowers may seem to represent happiness along with the expression of a smile. Warm colors are used in this portrait and mainly proportion and variety are used. Overall, this piece screams joy, love and happiness. Looking at this drawing, it could make a person feel like a flower blooming in the wind on a summer day. Others should see this portrait not only because of the raw talent defined in every pencil stroke but because of the exquisite feeling it gives off. The main thing to remember about this portrait is the sunflowers and the smile to match.
